Conventional Vs. Organic Egg Color

I find this rather fascinating. I cracked these three eggs to make a coffee cake recently. The egg on the far left is from my mom's chickens up in Santa Cruz. They don't eat any grain but graze on bugs and eat scraps from the kitchen. The egg on the top is an "organic, free-range" egg from the store. The bottom right egg is a cheapo egg from Costco, straight out of the factory. Isn't it interesting how the differences in color are so apparent!
