71 Picture Books to Read This Summer


  I was homeschooled all the way from preschool through 12th grade.
I’m sure you can imagine, I read a lot. I mean, a lot. In fact, my mom had a designated reading hour every afternoon. The youngest little ones who were still napping daily were put to bed, and then we would bring piles of library books out to the couch. My mom would read us picture book after picture book while we brushed her hair for her. It was quite a good plan for all involved!


  Here are some summer favorites. 71 is a big number. Can you believe I had to cut some, and condense my original list? It contained 214!!!!
